Your data, plainly
Bellcow runs private fantasy football leagues. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to run your league, we don't sell it, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, name, and password (stored encrypted; we can't see it).
- League activity: your team, lineups, trades, waiver claims, votes, picks and anything else you do in your league.
- What you post: messages, photos, team names and logos you add. Photos come from your camera or library only when you choose one.
- Bets you choose to track: if your league turns on the bet tracker, the bets you enter. Bellcow never takes, holds or moves money.
- Usage: which screens and features are used, so we know what to improve. This is tied to your account and stays inside Bellcow.
- Device details: a push notification token if you allow notifications, plus basic device and app version information to fix bugs.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't show ads or share data with advertisers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see it
Other members of your league see what a league app normally shows: your team, lineups, moves, messages and posts. Your email address is not shown to other members. Some tools, like private trade ideas, are visible only to you.
Services we use
We use a small number of providers to run the app: database and sign-in hosting, a server for live scoring and scheduled jobs, app delivery and push notification services, and an AI image service when you ask it to create a team logo. They handle data only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it's active. League history (scores, standings, results) is part of your league's record and stays with the league. If you delete your account, we remove your email, profile and personal details; your past results may remain in the league's history without your contact details.
Your choices
- Change your profile, photo and team details any time in Settings.
- Turn off notifications in your phone's settings.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account to be deleted, by emailing commissioner@bellcowhq.com.
Age
Bellcow is for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 17.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change matters.
